TLG deeply resonates with Nelson Mandela’s call for new hands to lift burdens during his 90th birthday celebration at Hyde Park, London.
This is reflected in TL’G’s logo.
TLG seeks “to be the go-to place for leadership development programs in Kenya and beyond.”
The Leaders Guild (TLG) is a leadership development programme under Center for Leadership and Management. It is founded with support from Conrad N. Hilton Foundation & DePaul University, School for New Learning,Chicago,USA.
TLG members include leaders and managers from various sectors of the society, referred to as Associates, and Catholic Religious Sisters and lay graduates of the BA of Liberal Arts with a focus on Leadership and Management offered by the School for New Learning, DePaul University (2007 – 2016) and the Centre for Leadership and Management,
Tangaza University College (2015 – present), referred to as Alumni. A unique attribute of The Leaders Guild is the partnership between the Catholic religious and leadership professionals to offer leadership development programs and services
HISTORY
Four alumni of DePaul University & Tangaza University College took up the responsibility to respond to some of the most critical leadership needs in Africa. The response led to the inception of The Leaders Guild in 2013. The Conrad N Hilton Foundation, through DePaul University, Chicago and Tangaza University College, funded The Leaders Guild and as a result its mission of developing Leaders & Managers who positively impact the society was realized.
The Leaders Guild Programme has so far offered lifelong learning and growth opportunities to over 300 leaders and managers in various sectors in Kenya who include Catholic Religious Sisters and graduates of the BA of Liberal Arts with a focus on Leadership and Management offered by the School for New Learning, DePaul University (2007 – 2016) and the Centre for Leadership and Management, Tangaza University College (2015 – present).

Since its inception in 2013, TLG has partnered with like-minded organizations to help offer its services and achieve overall objectives.
Some of the Organizations include Association of Sisterhoods in Kenya, Value Centered Leadership, WYLDE International, ASHOKA Foundation, Emerging Leaders Foundation and Executive Leaders Network (ELNET)
